Obtaining representative fluid samples is essential if accurate in place fluid data is to be obtained. The associated costs of sampling such as rig time, open hole sampling and well test personnel and equipment usually far outweigh the costs of analysing the actual samples. We therefore recommend that on site witnessing of the complete open/cased hole sampling program be performed by experienced personnel.

During open hole sampling, we can provide experts at the well site to physically witness the clean-up and sampling processes, the collection and the transfer of single phase samples. In the past, we have also successfully performed the above tasks remotely.

For cased hole sampling, we also QC separator flow rate data (especially important for gas condensates) and advise at the wellsite on both separator, wellhead and subsurface sampling.
